Terms & Conditions of Sale Prices:
Prices are subject to change without notice. The prices shown are in U.S. dollars. You may confirm current prices and availability with our Sales Department by phone, fax, or e-mail.
You may also request written quotations to be sent to you by fax, mail, or e-mail. Terms of Payment: Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC accepts Procurement cards, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, Check (drawn on US bank), and Wire Transfer. Terms of payment very with established credit.
New Accounts: We welcome new accounts. However we reserve the right to refuse any and all orders without explanation.
Discounts: Some items throughout this catalog have quantity discounts available. These discounts may or may not apply to orders shipped separately.
International Customers: will be issued a "Proforma Invoice" with US Dollar pricing and Certified Insured Freight (C.I.F.). Custom Duties and Taxes will go forward.
Confirming Orders: Please do not send a confirming order if you are ordering through our web site. Please provide complete shipping & billing information, along with any special conditions necessary to complete the order. A repackaging fee plus freight may be charged for returns due to incomplete shipping addresses.
Shipments: Freight charges are estimated at the time of order creation. Unless specified, Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC will ship Federal Express Saver or UPS 3-Day Select for Domestic Customers and Federal Express Economy or UPS-Express Saver for International Customers. Actual freight and insurance charges will be added to the invoice. We offer the following carriers, please specify at time of order: UPS, Federal Express, DHL, Airborne Express, & Kintesu World Express (KWE).
Charges are determined (at time of shipment) by the carrier as the greater amount of: Actual package weight, or Overall package dimensions. Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC will not be liable for any claim, loss, or damage caused in whole or in part due to delay in or failure to make delivery when such delay or failure is directly or indirectly caused by act of God; strike or other labor difficulty; transportation problems; inability or delay in obtaining necessary labor, material or products from usual sources; material shortages; accident; act of any civil or military authority; act of war; or act of purchaser; or by the occurrence of any other contingency beyond Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC reasonable control. In such event, the date of delivery or time for completion shall be postponed by such length of time as may be reasonably necessary to compensate for the delay.
Minimum Order: Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC appreciates all orders.
However, we reserves the right to reject any order under $75.00.
Product Design Changes: We continually update our database with current product information and changes. However, specifications are subject to change without notice. Due to continuing improvements in design, some items may differ slightly from the description and photograph in the catalog. If you have questions, please call or email our sales department.
Warranty: Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC warrants products sold against defects in material or workmanship as stated in the original manufactures warranty. Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC at its option, will repair or replace any defective product unit at no charge, or refund the purchase price to purchaser, provided that:
(i) the warranty claim is made in writing within the period of time specified in the operation manual or in information enclosed with the product packaging,
(ii) proof of purchase by bill of sale or receipted invoice is submitted concurrently with the claim and shows that the product is within the applicable warranty period,
(iii) the purchaser complies with Procedures for Returns listed under the general Terms and Conditions contained herein.
This warranty shall not apply to:
(a) defects or damage resulting from
(i) misuse of the product,
(ii) use of the product outside its normal and customary manner,
(iii) accident or neglect,
(iv) improper testing, operation, maintenance, service, repair, installation, or storage,
(v) unauthorized alteration or modification.
(b) post-expiration dated materials.
This warranty is the exclusive remedy of the purchaser, and Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC disclaims all other warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No employee, agent, or representative of Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC is authorized to bind the company to any other warranty. In no event shall Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC be liable for incidental or consequential damages. All express and implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability and the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose are expressively disclaimed and shall not apply to any products sold or services rendered hereunder. Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC shall not be liable for consequential, incidental, special, or other direct or indirect damages resulting from economic loss or property damage sustained by you or any end user from the use of the products sold or services rendered hereunder. Recommendations made by Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC regarding the properties, qualities, use or application of products sold by Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC are believed to be reliable, but Texas Scientific Instruments, LLC makes no representation or warranty whatsoever with respect to any such recommendation, and expressly disclaims any and all liability therefore. The Customer shall be solely responsible for decisions regarding its uses or applications of products purchased.
Claims: Orders are filled, checked, rechecked, and packed with great care. If damage has occurred, keep the carton and all of the packing materials. Report the details immediately to the carrier and then contact our Sales Department at 210-229-1002 or quotes@texasscientific.com.
